We are happy to announce the launch of 2019 Belgrade Summer School, organized by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics, from 1 – 12 July 2019. Our mission is to provide students with amazing experience, by offering them state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in a variety of topics, networking and enjoying the vibrant summer life in Belgrade.
We offer a wide portfolio of non-credit, 2-week courses (30-40 teaching hours). Our courses are developed and delivered in English, by reputable academics and experienced practitioners, thus combining insights into cutting-edge theoretical and practical aspects of the topics. For 2019 we have prepared a highly competitive offer for those who want to learn more about cryptocurrencies, econometrics using STATA, programing in R, macrofinancial programing, real estate management, financial investments, digital marketing, organizational networks, emerging markets and multinationals or green supply chains. Courses are delivered through lectures and tutorials, which are usually taught in our modern computer lab, thus providing students with a hands-on problem solving experience.
The Summer school takes place at the campus of the Faculty of Economics, in Belgrade downtown, 5-10 minutes walk from the central square, Kalemegdan fortress or the amazing confluence of Danube and Sava rivers. By spending two weeks in Belgrade in July, you will have an opportunity to explore exciting cultural events, including visits to historical sites, museums, music festivals (e.g. Exit), plenty of vibrant bars, 7-km long sandy (lake) beach and amazing nightlife. Belgrade is a very safe city, with the total population of 2 million people, approximately 1.5 hours away from the most of European capitals.
