It is the region, where cold freshwater travels down the mountains, unravelling the fascinating and picturesque beauty of nature, where one can enjoy the colours of traditional costumes, the taste of freshly made bread or dance to the upbeat sounds of folk music. The Balkans, is all this, but is also a divided region, where young people have not had the opportunity to break the barriers amongst our countries and start building a prosperous future for the region.
That is why, we invite you to participate in the Balkan Leadership Initiative short course in Podgorica, Montenegro from the 1st to the 5th of August. The short course will have participants of age 15 to 18 years old coming from 5 different Balkan countries: Greece, Kosovo*, Serbia, Montenegro, and Albania. It will explore topics such as discrimination, culture, economic development, politics through engaging workshops, expert speakers as well as fun bonding activities, where you will be able to get to know the other participants better.
All the participants will only need to pay a 30 euros fee that will go towards the accommodation and food. How to apply? Simple, download and fill in the form attached (https://drive.google.com/…/0B7yplzacLY5TYVN2MFVpVmFNa…/view…) and send it to: [email protected].
The applications will be open from the 7th until the 30th of June. Looking forward to hearing from all of you!
